A shattered glass from a stone cast not by others but yourself. Often how we see and perceive ourselves is not in the brightest light. If it is light, at best it is artificial. We stare at the cracks, blemishes, smudges and obsess over the defects. We become our own worst enemies. Even if it is not all true, we find ourselves loathing what is. What if I told you that even a broken mirror is worthy of love? That despite the cracks, blemishes, smudges, and defects that there is a love that can restore you. A love that pursues you. A love that gave all for you? Jesus Christ is that love. His thoughts of you are filled with love and goodness. You are precious to Him. You are a masterpiece from His Hand. You are His broken mirror.
