Evidence of life is all around us. Take a step outside and sit in silence. Feel the breeze, hear the birds chirping. Meditate on these things and what comes to my mind is how awesome God is. Life is a beautiful gift. This is not by accident or some form of disorganized chaos. It is intentional, organized, and intensely detailed. It is all contained and sustained by the LORD.   

Life is a beautiful gift

We can enjoy life because life is not dependent on us. It is given to us through the work of the Holy Spirit. We see this in the very beginning during the time of creation. As the earth was dark, formless, and void. It was not until the Holy Spirit stepped on the scene that is when the beautiful orchestra of life came to be (Genesis 1:1-3). 

At any given time, God can receive the life given to us back to Himself (Ecclesiastes 12:7). If this is true, then how I live should be a life of gratitude. I should seek His will above my own if I am to truly experience an abundant life. Food, clothing, shelter, and self-worth are all essential things in life. However, God promises that if we indeed seek Him first before such things, He will provide for us in all the essentials of life (Matthew 6:25-34).
