Authority
A king and his kingdom, A boss in a leadership role. Any role that puts you in a position of authority will always present a door of pride ready to be open. Authority is a huge responsibility, but authority is not your own. We are just mere stewards of authority.
Who rules?
When talking about the kingdom of this world one question automatically comes to mind: Who kingdom is it? The answer is found in the book of Daniel chapter 4. The reigning king during this time was Nebuchadnezzar. His kingdom was the world power of the time and every nation within the region and beyond had to pay tribute. So, the answer is Nebuchadnezzar, right? Nebuchadnezzar thought so but his pride blinded him from the truth. The LORD humbled Him to make him realize that the kingdom of man will always belong to the LORD.
Author Of Authority
The LORD is always at work within the affairs of governmental powers. His plan always prevails even when we go against it. When a nation goes against the LORD that nation suffers from that disobedience. The opposite is true when a nation abides by His way, that nation will prosper. His is the power, glory, and honor forever Amen!
“This decision is by the decree of the watchers, And the sentence by the word of the holy ones, In order that the living may know that the Most High rules in the kingdom of men, Gives it to whomever He will and sets over it the lowest of men”-Daniel 4:17 (NKJV)
"Let every soul be subject to the governing authorites. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorites that exsit are appointed by God."-Romans 13:1 (NKJV)
