Daily Remembrance

Every waking moment choices are presented: Do I choose to listen to the voice of love? Or other voices all yearning for the same attention? Do I wait to see a clear path or walk blindly? Am I head strong to battle enemies on my own or do I find strength by hiding in the LORD where my strength is found? Do I position myself to be taught or tackle the day without wisdom? Will the Spirit of the LORD lead me, or will I refuse to be led?

All these questions stem from dissecting the verses that this blog is about: “Let Me hear of Your unfailing love each morning, for I am trusting you. Show me where to walk, for I give myself to you. Rescue me from my enemies, LORD; I run to you to hide me. Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. May your gracious Spirit lead me forward on a firm footing.”– Psalm 143: 8-10.

These thoughts and decisions hit you faster than you can even process it through. This is why we need the guidance of the LORD every day, as the first thing. A moment of prayer with reading of the word of God will always direct our steps for each day. This daily remembrance is a reminder that when we open our eyes the key to conquering any day is knowing that the LORD is sovereign over every day.
