We All Have It
We all have a natural inclination to some form of skill. Whether that skill is in the realm of art, sports, business, service, education, etc. Only you know what skill(s) that is. For a good way to identify them is when you do something it comes easy for you to grow and excel in that realm. If we just honed those skills and stopped there most of us would be successful. To be set apart in that realm you will need more than skill. Skill will only get you in the arena to compete.
Different Class
To be in a whole different class requires a Spirit that is beyond you. What do I mean by this? This means that the way you think, understand, perceive, and operate must come from a place that is beyond you. When you have the Holy Spirit within you, He is that agent of change. He transforms your mind. This transformation will affect every aspect of your life. Who you once were will no longer be for you will be transformed into a new person.
Distinguished Spirit
Daniel was amongst three who were given the position of governor over Darius kingdom. Even though Daniel carried the same title as the others he was set apart. He was distinguished above the other men with the same authority. This was not due to more skill but the fact that the spirit that was in him came from the LORD (Daniel 6:1-3). When the LORD is with you, He can take what little skills you have and elevate you to a different class. For it is He who gave you the skills in the first place. Trust your skills with the LORD and see how He uses them in ways that surpass your own.
