We all at some point in time hoped for something. A child, a marriage, a career. You know exactly what that hope is. When the hope is finally manifested it brings forth such a harvest of joy and fulfillment. This is what a manifested hope produces. When that hope is not fulfilled. It can easily turn into hopelessness but there is a hope that will never fail. One that is beyond all our expectations and the fulfillment it will provide.
This hope is eternal. It is a hope that will never go away or fail in its expectation and fulfillment. Jesus Christ is this hope. He is the reason we are alive and the sustainer of the life He Has given. We hope in Him for He promises something better. His promises have been firmly established by the price of His life on the cross. His life that was given unto us is a living hope of new life in abundance. Life that surpasses the one we have now and the one we imagine in our minds. His hope is the hope that will never let us down.
13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope. -Romans 15:13 (ESV)
