What is now, cannot compare to what will be.
A destination awaits all and death is the usher. One is a place of hope, love, and life everlasting. The other is one of darkness that is felt, pain which never ceases and separation from life itself. If you are reading this, it could only mean one thing. You still have an opportunity. An opportunity to cling to the promises that God not only declared but displayed in action by His blood and sealed with His Spirit. God is serious about you; the life of His Son Jesus Christ was the cost He was willing to pay for you.
So, the question you can ask yourself is this: What awaits me?
Life, joy, hope, and peace are waiting. Will you choose to pursue and experience this now or wait…What awaits you?
May I seek to grasp this every morning. May I seek Him every day. For before I even wake….He Awaits me.
I await because Jesus Christ is worthy to wait for.
