Day after day, week after week, year after year…what is the point?
Sometimes I have these moments of not living life with intent. When this happens, I become short sighted and blinded in my mind of the fact that God placed me here. To be placed is intention, it was an action on purpose for He creates no accident. He creates not for temporal purpose but with eternity in mind. For He endures forever.
I am because He willed me to be. If He willed it than that is more than enough for me. I have a beginning but most importantly I have a future. A future that death cannot stop. A future that nothing can snatch me away from the love of God.
My days of being short-sighted is over. LORD remind me that I have a future and hope not just here and now but for all eternity. Bless me with your long-term view that I may not be burdened with temporal things. May the hope you have given me burn so ever brightly within me. In Jesus Name Amen!
