Symbol of victory is the palm branch. From every tongue, tribe, and nation those who have victory will indeed have a palm branch in their hand. For these are the ones who cling to what was already won during times of great tribulation. Those who stood firm on the promises of God’s Word in faith. Jesus Christ is our Salvation and Has given us this victory.
There is a guarantee that tribulations will come our way. We can look at tribulations in two ways, as an obstacle or opportunity. Obstacles are meant to slow you and permanently stop you from moving forward. Opportunities are meant to propel you forward to draw you ever closer to the finish line. Whatever perspective we cling to will determine the outcome of our tribulation.
May this Palm Sunday remind us of the mighty victory we have in Jesus Christ. May Our LORD strengthen the faith He Has given us to one day be amongst those proclaiming Hosanna!
9 After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, 10 and crying out with a loud voice, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” -Revelation 7:9-10
